More On The Sin Cara/Chris Jericho Backstage Fight, More

As noted, Chris Jericho got into an altercation with Sin Cara while the Raw crew was traveling from Leeds, England, to Glasgow, Scotland on Sunday night.

According to reports, Sin Cara/Hunico was making annoying noises on the tour bus, and although people on the bus told him to stop, he didn’t. Sin Cara’s lack of compliance led to Chris Jericho more forcefully telling him to stop and Cara responded by telling Jericho to “f**k off.”

After some words were exchanged, Sin Cara threw a punch at Chris Jericho and then the two were broken up. As they were being pulled apart Jericho apparently bit Sin Cara’s finger. According to one account Sin Cara snapped in about two seconds with no warning. Sin Cara was then kicked off the bus.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross seemed to confirm this report, posting the following in a new blog: “Caught up with Chris Jericho Monday morning to check in regarding the reports of a ‘fight’ that Y2J had at a WWE event in the U.K. with Sin Cara. Chris said it was largely about nothing and that it resembled more of a scuffle than a full fledged fight. Sin Cara threw one punch and then the minor melee was broken up. Tensions often times rise on these extended, international tours which can bring out the worst in people. This scrap apparently occurred on the bus in route to Glasgow. At the end of the day, it was seemingly much to do about not that much on a slow news day online. (Bill Watts would have made the two fight to get the angst out of their systems. Cowboy did just that with Butch Reed and John Nord.) BTW, it was nice catching up with Chris last week while we were both in LA on business, we share the same agent, as Chris and I may be teaming to do other projects in the future. Stay tuned.”

Shortly after news of the scuffle hit the internet MLW Radio posted a tweet with the hashtag #Y2JKOD indicating that Sin Cara had knocked out Jericho. The first ever Undisputed Champion took to Twitter to say that he hasn’t been knocked out since 1994.

Chris Jericho also responded to reports about the scuffle via Instagram. He posted a video jokingly showing off a packet of bath salts, saying that if anyone hears anything in the news about him biting people to blame it on the bath salts.

Finally figured out how I can become a ZOMBIE! #bathsalts #wweglasgow
