Police: WWE Superstar Bo Dallas Arrested At Dallas Airport

UPDATE x 3: It was reported over the weekend that WWE’s Bo Dallas was kicked off of a plane over the weekend due to beign intoxicated.

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that Dallas was indeed arrested for public intoxication, according to Dallas Fort Worth Police officials. The report states that Dallas, real name Taylor Rotunda, was removed from his flight for yelling at the flight crew while wearing “Tapout” gear. WWE partners with TapouT.

Police state that Dallas was slumped over in a chair looking at his phone, and when he stood up, he “demonstrated very poor dexterity” and dropped his phone. They also say that he strongly smelled of alcohol. Dallas told police that he was drinking, and when they inquired as to how much he drank, he said “I’m not really planning on driving tonight.”

Officers determined his level of intoxication was a danger to himself and others, and then placed him under arrest.

This led to Dallas being pulled from the WWE’s tour of Mexico. He was scheduled to team with Curtis Axel on the Mexico tour against The Usos. Axel instead worked singles matches against Jey and Jimmy Uso. Dallas was previously arrested for a DUI back in 2012 when part of WWE developmental.

UPDATE x 2: The man who tweeted on Friday about Bo Dallas apparently being kicked off an airplane for being too drunk has provided new details of the incident. The Late Shift podcast hosted Steven Bell, who posted the initial tweets that have been making the rounds.

Bell told the site that his wife was actually the person at the airport and called him to say that several wrestlers including Roman Reigns, Rusev, Charlotte, Dallas and Bayley were at the airport. She said that Charlotte, Dallas and one of the Usos were at a restaurant in the airport and “had to have been there a few hours” because their flight was delayed. He said that while he was talking to his wife, he could hear Dallas singing a song from The Lion King as they were all leaving the restaurant to board their plane.

Bell said that while his wife wasn’t on the same flight as the WWE talent, she saw Dallas being escorted off the plan by the pilot and that a flight attendant told him he couldn’t board because of his condition. Dallas told the pilot and gate attendants to “f*ck themselves” before walking off. Bell added that the tweet about Rollins being a “d*ck” was based on what his wife overheard by gate agents saying about him.

Police arrived on the scene, but Bell’s wife had to board another plane so they don’t know if Dallas got arrested, was allowed back on the original flight, or took a second fight home after he “sobered up” a bit. There are no arrest records for him from the weekend.

UPDATE: Following rumors yesterday of Bo Dallas being kicked off his flight due to an airport incident, it should be noted that Dallas didn’t work the WWE house show in Puebla, Mexico. Read into that what you will.

Bell claimed that Dallas allegedly told the pilot and everyone on the plane to “**** themselves” and walked off “drunkenly.” This was after he was singing songs from Lion King loudly. Airport police were called to the scene, but Dallas was not arrested according to Bell. For now, the story only appears to be a rumor, and WWE has not commented on the validity of the report.
