Aux.TV reports that Prince’s vault contains at least one professional wrestling project inside. The late pop icon’s vault was drilled open by the Bremer Trust, who have authority over the estate, late last week.
According to the site, the vault includes among its hefty list of unreleased content a Morris Day-narrated documentary about WWE Hall of Famer Koko B. Ware. There is also a hard rock album titled Bockwinkel that was done with Bob Mould, who worked for WCW Creative at one point.
The list also includes a ton of non-wrestling related content including:
Robin – a concept album dedicated to the DC superhero that would have coincided with 1997’s Batman & Robin.
“Mr. Freeze” – a concept maxi-single for Batman & Robin that would have tied into a promotion with Dairy Queen.
* “Batdance” 20th Anniversary Nike+ Remix For Runners.
* Joker — a tribute album to Heath Ledger.
* Joker 2 — A collection of songs written for Jared Leto, who is playing the Joker in Suicide Squad.
* “Jupiter Ascending” — A theme song for the 2015 movie that was shelved, featuring Mila Kunis on saxophone.
* “Jupiter Ascending” — A video for the film “featuring Channing Tatum in character.”
* “Jupiter Ascending” — A soundtrack meant to be for the video game based on the film.
* Purple Rain 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition — a remastered and expanded version of Purple Rain.
You can see the full list of projects — some of which could conceivably see the light of day at some point if his estate allows — at the link. Prince was legendary for creating content and then not releasing it, instead storing it in his vault at his Paisley Park home.
