The Coach welcomes Jericho to the show and asks if he prefers “Y2J” or “Ayatollah”, and Jericho says it’s funny because some young fans don’t remember what the “Y2K problem” is. He says it’s kind of funny like Shawn Michaels still being “the Heart Break Kid”, but it still works as Y2J for him.
Coach asks about personality and Jericho says you really need to connect and be good on the mic, and it’s hard to learn but it’ll get you to the top. Jericho says wrestling is based on character and charisma, and he’s not the biggest guy, but he has a big personality and it’s been his focus. Coach says Jericho is lucky because he also has Fozzy and other gigs, and Jericho says Fozzy is a childhood dream and hosting his Talk Is Jericho is great talking to his friends and learning a lot.
They also talk about his guest appearance on Dancing With The Stars and Jericho relates it to training with Stu Hart and says it’s hard and takes repetition, but he’s glad he did it. Coach asks who Jericho’s biggest hockey inspiration was, and Jericho says Tiger Williams of the Toronto Maple Leafs was his favorite, because he had charisma and was a fighter, but he stood out and influenced him by standing out from the crowd.
Coach asks Jericho for a plug and Jericho makes him say please, then Jericho says SportsCenter will never, ever be the same… again. Coach thanks him and wishes Nikki Bella good luck on her neck surgery to close it out.
