Bill Simmons/Andre The Giant DVD Update, Charlotte/Ric Flair

Page Six is now confirming thst Bill Simmons’ first project with HBO will be a documentary on Andre the Giant. The site reports that the Andre documentary will be Simmons’ first documentary on the deal he signed with the premium cabler after leaving ESPN.

Simmons left ESPN in May after drawing heat on the network for his criticism of NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, who he called a “liar” over the “Deflategate” controversy. He signed his deal with HBO in July, and it officially began last month.

— Play America has announced new details via press release about Ric Flair and Charlotte’s appearance next month. The two will appear on December 18th at iPlay in Freehold, New Jersey at 6 PM.

A Parent Pass is $25 and is required for a parent to escort a ticket holder age 13 or younger. This pass does not allow parents an autograph item or photo with the Flairs.
