TNA’s Production Staff Told Paychecks Will Be Late Again

TNA’s pay woes continue. According to The Sporting News, it was announced during a production meeting on Thursday that the staff’s checks for the May tapings will not be handed over until at least July 15th. The information was handed down by Ron and Don Harris, who recently returned to the company and were put in charge of the production team.

The site says that the brothers told the staff, “if you’re not happy, just shake our hands and walk away.”

One long-time production worker said, “It’s the same old TNA bullsh*t” while another noted, “I don’t blame (the Harrises). They’re back after 10 years and don’t know what’s going on.”

Of course, this is just the latest in a series of pay issues involving TNA, who have regularly been behind on paying their production team. The site notes that the industry standard for TV is to pay freelance production workers in thirty days, with most paying within two weeks. The company has been over two months behind several times in the past few years.
