UPDATE: TMZ reports that Scott Steiner is being investigated for allegedly threatening to kill Hulk Hogan in San Jose. As previously reported, Steiner spoke to Hogan’s wife Jennifer at the baggage claim of an airport. She was in town for WrestleMania 31 and flew in on March 26 ahead of Hogan. Steiner allegedly grabbed her and said he plans to “kill Terry” when he lands.
As previously reported, Jennifer didn’t recognize Steiner. She called Hogan and he immediately flew into San Jose to be with her. The two filed a police report early the next morning. Police are investigating Steiner for “felony terrorist threats” as it happened in an airport. They have also obtained airport surveillance video that shows Steiner approaching Jennifer.
Steiner has said for years that he doesn’t like Hogan and even blames him for the death of WCW. When asked for comment, he said: “Typical Hogan. He’s just a punk.“
UPDATE: As reported yesterday, Scott Steiner was banned from the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony after an incident reportedly took place involving Hulk Hogan’s wife Jennifer. We now have some more details on the incident. The incident took place on the flight to San Jose.
According to sources, the two ended up on the same flight to San Jose and while they were both at the baggage claim, Steiner approached Jennifer and told her that the next time he saw Hogan, there were going to be problems. Jennifer didn’t know who Steiner was and was reportedly “very shaken up.” She obviously went and told Hogan who then told WWE officials to ban Steiner from the ceremony. Hogan was extremely pissed off over the situation and threatened to no-show the Hall of Fame and WrestleMania 31 if Steiner entered the building. This is why WWE took extraordinary measures to make sure Steiner did not enter the arena.
Hogan told people over the weekend that he didn’t know of any problems between himself and Steiner and that he didn’t know why Steiner would approach his wife like that. As previously reported, Steiner is the target of a pending lawsuit by TNA which came form negative comments Steiner made about Hogan, Brooke Hogan, Eric Bischoff and others on Twitter.
ORIGINAL: Former WCW, WWE and TNA star Scott Steiner was reportedly banned from the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony on Saturday night and the WrestleMania 31 pay-per-view on Sunday. According to reports, Steiner was in an altercation with Hulk Hogan’s wife Jennifer on an airplane that was described as “an ugly incident”. WWE had security guards at all entrances on Saturday and Sunday and they were specifically told not to allow Steiner in.
The following has also made it onto Twitter, showing that photos of Steiner were posted around the venue so security would recognize him.
