— As noted earlier here on the website, the reason WWE has revised the 2015 Royal Rumble from forty men to the usual thirty is ecause they have scrapped their plan to use ECW originals in the match. The company planned to feature former ECW stars in the match due to the show taking place in Philadelphia, but that idea was thrown out.
