Sheamus & Top UFC Fighter Involved In A Twitter War

Sheamus found himself in a Twitter feud with Conor McGregor today. The whole situation sprung up after McGregor appeared on SI Now (which you can see below) and was asked about Sheamus. McGregor said he could “whoop Sheamus’ ass” in a fight, which prompted the little back-and-forth:

When Irish UFC Featherweight contender Conor McGregor was asked during an SI Now appearance today whether or not he could beat up popular Irish WWE Superstar Sheamus in a real-fight, McGregor replied by saying, “I would whoop his ass. It would be no contest.” This, of course, led to the always-popular “Twitter War.”

Of course a proud Irish tough guy himself, the WWE Superstar was quick to take to social media to fire back at the “The Notorious” one.
