Backstage News On Sting, Hogan & Rock At WrestleMania 31

As previously reported here on the website, any type of match for Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 will depend on if he can pass a strict physical exam for the WWE. The physical exam will include any performer that is over 45 years old who is under consideration for a match in WWE or WrestleMania 31.

Sting will also need to undergo the same physical exam in order to work a match at WrestleMania. Since The Undertaker is over 45, he would also fall under that category.

The exam was instituted as a result of Jerry Lawler’s recent health scare on TV. Older talents have to undergo a strict physical test in order to be allowed to do anything physical on WWE programming.

Also, the apparent start date for The Rock’s next film, Central Intelligence, is set for next spring. Since it is slated to begin production in the spring, the film could potentially rule him out for WrestleMania 31, which is scheduled for March 29.
