JBL’s Added Role With WWE?, Alberto Del Rio Shoot Preview, More

— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE has applied for a trademark for the phrase “IMMORTALS,” according to 4-Traders.

The application was filed by Lauren A. Dienes-Middlen, Vice President of Intellectual Property for the company.

The assumption is that the trademark is related to a new WWE Network show, however that is purely speculation at this point.

— JBL joined Michael Cole and Byron Saxton on commentary for Tuesday night’s edition of WWE Main Event on the WWE Network. There is no word currently as to whether or not JBL is a permanent addition to the Main Event announcing team, or if last night was a one-time deal.

Speaking of Main Event, the pre-show dark match saw Tyson Kidd defeat Adam Rose, while the post-show dark match saw Curtis Axel return to action with a loss to Kofi Kingston.
