Confirmed WWE NXT Matches, WWE PPV Bonuses, Lawsuits

— WWE is still looking to have recent class action lawsuits filed against them with regards to their new TV deal dismissed. The lawsuits allege that WWE violated SEC regulations by overstating what they hoped to make from its new TV deal.

— As noted earlier here on the website, the pay-per-view payoffs for the WWE events following WrestleMania this year are “really bad.” Many believe that talents are still paid based on PPV revenue. Due to the new system of WWE offering its monthly PPVs via the WWE Network, talents are said to not be getting anything extra from PPV payoffs because the Network has eliminated the revenue.

Some talents are reportedly being “taken care of.” Some talents apparently have deals that do not let this affect them as much. However, a source maintains that the lower PPV payoffs have hurt “everyone” on the roster.

It appears that WWE has not quite figured out a way to revitalize its pay system after starting the WWE Network as of yet. WWE probably would have been better served by not putting all its monthly PPVs on the WWE Network right off the bat and made it a gradual change.
