VIDEO: Chris Jericho Talks Brand Extension, Shield, Wyatt, Theme

Chris Jericho recently answered questions submitted by fans on IGN. Here are some highlights:

* He thought about changing his entrance theme but “Break The Walls Down” is so iconic. He said he asked Vince McMahon about it a couple of years ago. Vince said: “Nope, this is your theme for the rest of time.”

* He’s said he’s glad there’s no more brand extension because now he has sixty guys to work with instead of thirty.

* He said there should only be one World champion and that having two belts is “kind of lame”.

* He doesn’t think John Cena should turn heel, noting his charity work and merchandise sales. He said half of the people who says he sucks are wearing Cena merchandise, and they would cheer him if he turned. Jericho added: “Sometimes Internet fans make me laugh at their immaturity, which is worse than mine.”

* He said that The Shield, Bray Wyatt and the Wyatt Family are the talents to watch, but you never know who the next big thing is. It’s better to let the star develop organically than to push it.

* He had a hard time keeping a straight face during his angle with Bob Barker a few years ago. He said Barker made him laugh more than anyone else.

* His favorite match is his ladder match against Shawn Michaels at No Mercy 2008.
