We are live from Dayton, Ohio! Monday Night Raw starts with the arrival of The Authority, HHH and Stephanie Mcmahon. Stephanie welcomes us to the show. Triple H tells us that this Sunday marks the start of the road to Wrestlemania. He tells us that the winner of the rumble match, will main event against the champion at Wrestlemania. Triple H starts to welcome back Batista, but Randy Orton’s music cuts him off. Orton then makes his way to the ring.

Orton asks The Authority who they think they are. Stephanie asks Orton the same thing. Stephanie tells Orton that her and HHH have been busy promoting the launch of the WWE Network. Stephanie asks Orton what happened after his match last week against Kofi Kingston. They then show the ending of their match last week when Orton attacked John Cena’s father.

Back in the arena, Stephanie tells Orton that his actions last week were horrible, and they weren’t the actions of a true WWE World Heavyweight Champion. She tells Orton that if he doesn’t start listening to them, she will strip him of the title and fire him. Orton blames The Authority for his actions, by making him defend the title at Royal Rumble. Then he blames them for bringing back Batista and Brock Lesnar. Orton says there wouldn’t be a WWE Network without him. Orton says if he could do what he did last week again, he would. Triple H tells Orton that they made him the face of the WWE because they believe in him. Triple H says they have that faith in him, but Orton doesn’t have that faith in himself. He proved it last week by losing to Kofi Kingston. He expects Orton to right the wrong, but that’s not what Orton does. He attacks an old man instead. Triple H says Brock and Batista are standing in line behind John Cena, and they will look his way and toward the title. Triple H says that Orton needs to fix a lot of things tonight, starting with having another match with Kofi Kingston. After the match, Orton will meet with John Cena and make them right. He will have to do all of these things alone. The music of Batista now starts up, and the animal makes his way to the ring.

Loud Batista chants as he poses at all 4 corners for the WWE Universe. Triple H hands the mic over to Batista and he and Stephanie leave the ring. Orton tries to shake Batista’s hand, but Batista walks away from him. Orton extends his hand to Batista again, and Batista tells Randy hello without shaking it. Batista said he heard that Orton has a few questions about his return. Batista says he is back for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He said he doesn’t care who the champion is. He’s back to win The Royal Rumble, and to headline Wrestlemania. Batista drops his mic and leaves the ring, high fiving fans up the ramp. Orton stares at Batista as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, The Brotherhood are in the ring with Big E Langston. They will tag together in 6 man tag action against The Shield.

Big E Langston and The Brotherhood vs. The Shield

Big E and Dean Ambrose start this match out. Ambrose starts off quickly, but eats a big shoulder tackle by Big E. Ambrose tags in Seth Rollins. Big E with a gorilla press slam and a tag to Goldust. Rollins backs Goldust into the corner and lands some shoulder tackles. Rollins runs in and eats a back body drop and an atomic drop. Goldust covers for a 2 count. Cody now tags in. Cody with an elbow off the top followed by a stalling front suplex. Cody with the cover for a 2 count. Cody locks in a shoulder lock. Cody tags in Goldust. Goldust drops a knee to the face of Rollins and covers for a 2 count. Cody now tags back in. Rollins hits a quick back elbow to gain control. Rollins lands some big stomps to Cody in the corner. Cody gets whipped into the corner, but counters into a roll up for a 2 count. Cody lifts Rollins up on the top rope and hits a kick to the gut. Cody goes for the disaster kick, but Rollins rolls out of the ring. Cody comes off the top with a crossbody to the outside on to Rollins. The Shield regroup as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Roman Reigns is in control of Cody Rhodes. Cody fights back with shots, but eats a big right hand by Reigns. Reigns hooks Cody into the ropes and tags in Ambrose. Ambrose hits the ropes and hits a drop kick, followed by one by Rollins. Rollins covers for a 2 count, so he is now the legal man. Rollins with stiff shots to Cody in the corner. Rollins tries to dive onto Cody in the corner, but Cody moves. Rollins gets to Reigns, and Reigns cuts off Cody from making a tag. Cody comes off the ropes and connects with the disaster kick. Both men are now down. Reigns gets to Ambrose, and Cody gets to Big E. Big E on fire with clotheslines and a belly to belly suplex. Big E knocks Reigns to the floor and hits his big tackle to Ambrose. Big E lifts Ambrose on his shoulder, but Rollins saves him. Rollins gets tossed to the outside. Ambrose with a boot to the face of Big E. Ambrose comes off the top, but Big E catches him and hits a belly to belly suplex. Big E with his big splash and a cover for a 2 count. All the men are now in the ring. Reigns with the superman punch to Cody, and a spear to Goldust. Ambrose tags in Rollins now, and Rollins connects with the curb stomp and covers Big E for the 3 count.

Winners by Pinfall – The Shield

We go to the announcers, and they talk about the main event cage match from last week. They talk about after the match between Daniel Bryan and Bray Wyatt. We then see a video of what transpired. After the commercial break, Daniel Bryan will speak to the WWE Universe about his time with The Wyatt Family.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Daniel Bryan is in the ring. Loud Yes! chants from the WWE Universe. Very loud Daniel Bryan chants from the crowd before he even gets a word out. Bryan says that after Raw last week, a lot of people asked Bryan if he had a plan for joining The Wyatt Family. Bryan said he had to take down Bray Wyatt mentally. He says he had to do some things he wasn’t very fond of. He said he had to stand side by side with 3 men who he despises. He waited for the perfect time, and it was last week. Daniel Bryan doesn’t follow the buzzards, or follow anyone else. Bryan tells Wyatt the he exposed him. Bryan says that Harper and Rowan are in the rumble match, so that leaves Bray Wyatt one and one with him at the ppv. The lights go out, and Bray Wyatt appears on the big screen. Bray says where he comes from, being a traitor is a sin. Bryan didn’t expose him, he only exposed himself as a coward. Bray tells Bryan that the fans cheered for him as he attacked him, but he is a traitor. People only look up to him because they choose to kneel to a traitor. Bray tells Bryan to go home and hug his mother, tell her he loves her, and that he is sorry. Bray says everything that happens to Bryan from now on, is his fault. The screen goes black as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Fandango and Xavier Woods are in the ring. They will go one on one.

Fandango vs. Xavier Woods

Fandango starts off on the offensive. Woods hits the ropes and connects with a head scissor. Woods connects with a right hand, and a sit out drop kick. Woods dives at Fandango, but he moves and hits the ropes. Fandango comes back and hits a falcon arrow. Fandango goes up top and connects with his diving leg drop for the 3 count.

We go to the back where Kane and Brad Maddox are talking. Brad takes credit for Batista returning. Stephanie comes into the office and excuses Brad Maddox. Stephanie asks Kane what he was thinking when he chokeslammed CM Punk last week. Stephanie tells Kane that they both knew it was a risk making Kane a part of The Authority. Stephanie tells Kane that he can’t put his hands on a WWE Superstar. Kane says he understands, and he apologizes. Stephanie says she accepts his apology, but he needs to apologize to CM Punk. Kane reluctantly agrees and leaves the office.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Kane’s music starts up and he makes his way to the ring. Kane asks CM Punk nicely to come to the ring. CM Punk’s music starts up, and he makes his way to the ring.

Kane tells Punk that he overstepped his boundaries, and he apologizes for chokeslamming him on Smackdown. Punk says he didn’t hear what he said, and that he should say it again. Kane says again that he apologizes. Loud “one more time” chants from the crowd, and Punk looks at them. Punk says he is sorry too, and attacks him with a microphone. Punk knocks Kane out of the ring and Kane is livid. Brad Maddox makes his way to the stage. Brad says he is going to give Punk what he wants, and that’s a fight. Brad Maddox says he will fight one of The New Age Outlaws. The NAO make their way to the ring. They did rock paper scissors to see who will fight Punk, and Billy Gunn wins. Punk and Billy will go one on one.

CM Punk vs. Billy Gunn

Punk starts the match off quickly on Billy. Punk lands stiff stomps to Billy in the corner. Billy gets whipped hard into the corner, and then bails to the floor. Punk gives chase and throws Billy face first into the apron. Punk looks at Road Dogg and Billy attacks him from behind. Billy tosses Punk face first into the apron as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Punk is in control of Billy Gunn. Punk locks in a sleeper hold, but Billy reverses into a belly to back suplex. Billy covers for a 2 count. Billy now locks in a rear chin lock. Punk fights back to his feet and goes for the GTS, but Billy connects with a big drop kick. Billy covers for a 2 count. Billy does a crotch chop to Punk, but Punk connects with a kick to the head. Billy bails to the floor. Punk slides to the floor and attacks Road Dogg at the announce table. Back in the ring, Punk connects with a calf kick and some clotheslines. He follows that with a swinging neck breaker for a 2 count. Punk does the crotch chop, and connects with the knee in the corner. Punk runs into Road Dogg on the apron, and Billy connects with a tilt a whirl slam for a close 2 count. Billy charges at Punk in the corner, but Punk moves and Billy goes head first into the ring post. Punk goes up top, but Road Dogg pulls Billy out of the ring. Punk dives through the ropes onto Road Dogg, but Billy hits Punk with a clothesline. Billy goes for the fameasser, but Punk moves. Punk lifts Billy up and connects with the GTS for the 3 count.

Winner by Pinfall – CM Punk

After the match, Brad Maddox comes to the stage. Kane walks out and says he’s got this. Kane congratulates him. He says he sees why he calls himself the best in the world. Kane says this Sunday, Punk will be able to prove himself. Ever number is random, except for his. Kane says that CM Punk will be the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble match.

We go to the back and see the camera waiting on John Cena. Instead of Cena, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman show up and make their way into the arena.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, we see a video package highlighting the history of the Royal Rumble by the numbers. We go back to the announcers, and they all talk about the passing of Mae Young. The announcers then show us a video package highlighting the life of the late Mae Young.

Back in the arena, Rey Mysterio makes his way to the ring. he will go one on one with Alberto Del Rio.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Alberto Del Rio has joined Rey Mysterio in the ring for this one on one match.

Alberto Del Rio vs. Rey Mysterio

Both men lock up to start the match. They chain wrestle on the ground and both jump to their feet. They lock up again, and Del Rio connects with a shoulder block. Del Rio steps over Rey and connects with a kick. He then covers for a 2 count. Del Rio goes for a monkey flip, but Rey connects with a drop kick to the face. Rey covers for a 2 count. Del Rio lifts up Rey and connects with snake eyes on the top rope. He follows that with stomps to Rey on the round. Del Rio gets hung up on the top rope, and Rey connects with a kick to the face. Del Rio is now on the outside. Rey connects with an asai moonsault. Both men now back in the ring. Rey connects with stomps to Del Rio in the corner, and then hits a baseball slide to the mid section. Rey connects with the 10 mounted punches. Rey gets whipped into the corner, and Del Rio charges and hits a big stomp to Mysterio. Del Rio hangs Mysterio on the side of the apron and hits a running boot to the head. Rey is thrown back in the ring, and Del Rio goes up top. Del Rio comes off with an ax handle and covers for a 2 count. Del rio now locks in a rear chin lock. Rey fights back to his feet, but Del Rio connects with a tilt a whirl back breaker for a 2 count. Del Rio back on the attack with a stomp to the back of the head. Del Rio leans Rey in the corner and connects with a knee to the back. Del Rio now with a foot choke to Mysterio in the corner. Rey back to his feet and starts to fight back, but Del Rio grabs Rey and slides him face first out of the ring as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Del Rio is in control of Rey Mysterio. Del Rio throws Mysterio back first into the steel steps. Both men now back in the ring and Del Rio covers for a 2 count. Del Rio lifts Rey onto the top rope and tries to take his mask off. Rey gets hung upside down and hits some big stomps. Rey bails from the ring and Del Rio gives chase. Del Rio bends Rey around the ring post and then covers for a 1 count. Rey fights back with some punches. Rey charges Del Rio in the corner, but Del Rio moves and Rey hits hard into the corner. Del Rio lifts Rey back on the top rope again and hangs him upside down. Del Rio charges, but Rey moves and Del Rio goes shoulder first into the ring post. Rey is on the top rope, and comes off with corkscrew tackle. The ref starts the 10 count. Both men back to their feet and Mysterio his a head scissor. Rey lands on the apron and goes up top. he connects with the seated senton. Del Rio goes for a sunset flip, but Mysterio counters with a kick to the face. Mysterio covers for a close 2 count. Del Rio lifts Rey up for a spine buster, but Rey reverses into the 619, but Del rio catches him and catapults him into the corner. Del Rio connects with the kick to the head for another close 2 count. Del Rio calls for the cross arm breaker. he goes for it, but Rey gets out. Del Rio lifts Rey on his shoulder, but Rey again counters and this time connects with the 619. Rey drops the dime off the top, but Del Rio grabs the bottom rope before the 3 count. Rey goes back up the top rope. Rey jumps but Del Rio catches him into a facebuster. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker and Rey Mysterio taps out.

Winner by Submission – Alberto Del Rio

After the match, Del Rio starts celebrating. His celebration is cut short by the music of Batista. Batista makes his way to the ring. Del Rio starts talking trash to Batista and tells him to leave. Batista stares a hole through him. Del Rio tries to attack him, but Batista connects with a spinebuster. Batista lifts Del Rio up and connects with the Batista Bomb. Batista poses in the corner for the WWE Universe with a prone Del Rio still in the ring. Batista leaves the ring and high fives some fans as he makes his way to the back.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, The Big Show makes his way to the ring. He and Brock Lesnar will have a “face to face” confrontation. Big Show says that at the rumble, he will be in one of the biggest fights of his career. Then he does an unflattering impression of Paul Heyman. Big Show calls Lesnar one of the toughest guys in the WWE. He says that he just doesn’t like Lesnar. Big Show tells Brock Lesnar to come out to the ring and meet him face to face. Paul Heyman makes his way onto the stage. He doesn’t say a word, and the music of Brock Lesnar starts up. Brock and Paul Heyman make their way down the ramp, but stop short of the ring. Brock and Heyman start making their way back up the ramp and then go to the back. Big Show tells Brock to come back down to the ring and get in his face. Brock and Heyman make their way back out and back down the ramp. Brock and Heyman stop short of the ring again and stand there looking at Big Show. Lesnar walks up the stairs and gets in the ring. Brock and Big Show get face to face. Brock makes a quick movement at Big Show, and Big Show flinches. They finally lock up, and Big Show dumps Lesnar out of the ring. Lesnar is furious and starts destroying the announce table. Lesnar grabs a chair and starts hitting the announce table. Lesnar tries to slide in the ring, but Big Show steps on the chair. Lesnar retreats out of the ring again. Heyman runs to Lesnar and tells him not to get back in the ring. Lesnar thinks about it, and then he and Heyman back up the ramp. Lesnar tells Big Show that he will see him on Sunday.

Back on Raw, AJ lee and Tamina make their way to the ring. They will be in tag team divas action against The Funkadactyls.

Cameron and Tamina start the match off. Tamina starts off quickly with a clothesline and a stomp. Tamina lifts up Cameron and connects with a scoop slam. She drags Cameron over to the corner and tags in AJ. AJ connects with a swinging neck breaker and covers for a 2 count. AJ locks in a rear chin lock. Cameron tries to fight out, but AJ tosses her to the mat. AJ backs Cameron into her corner and tags in Tamina. Tamina lands some knees to the gut and whips Cameron into the corner. Cameron connects with a double kick to the face and then tags in Naomi. Naomi is on fire with a head scissor and a big drop kick. Naomi charges in and eats a kick to the face by Tamina. AJ now tags in and starts skipping around the ring. AJ leans down to get Naomi, and Naomi rolls her up for the 3 count.

Back on Raw, we see another video highlighting the history of the Royal Rumble. Back in the arena, the announcers run down the matches or this Sunday’s pay-per-view. We then see a video package celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his I Have a Dream speech.

Back in the arena, The Usos make their way to the ring. They will be in tag team action against Luke Harper and Eric Rowan of The Wyatt Family after the break.

Back on Raw, The Usos are in the ring. Their opponents, The Wyatt Family, make their way to the ring. They will be in tag team action.

The Usos vs. Eric Rowan and Luke Harper

Jey Uso and Luke Harper start the match off. Luke Harper is all over Jey as the match gets started. Harper tags in Rowan. Rowan and Jey trade right hands, but Rowan connects with a club to the back and some stomps. Rowan tosses Jey to the outside. Harper tries to chop Jey against the ring post, but Jey moves. Jey runs over and tags in Jimmy. Jimmy comes off the apron onto Harper and tosses his back in the ring. Jimmy connects with a few huge right hands to Harper. Jimmy and Harper now trade blows. Jey gets a blind tag. Jey comes off the top with a cross body, but Rowan breaks up the pinfall. Harper hits Jey with a big boot to the face and covers for a 2 count. Harper connects with a double chop and tags in Eric Rowan. Rowan drops a knee across the chest of Jey Uso. Rowan connects with a big scoop slam. Rowan squeezes the temple of Jey. Jey fights back to his feet, but Rowan tosses him back down. Rowan locks in the temple squeeze again. Rowan transitions into a neck crank. Jey back to his feet again, and tries to get seperation. Rowan connects with a forearm to the face and tags in Rowan. Harper with a cover for a 2 count. Harper charges Jey in the corner, but Jey gets the boot up. Jey goes up top, but Harper pushes him off face first into the barricade as we go to commercial.

-Commercial Break-

Back on Raw, Rowan hits a club to the back of Jimmy Uso to keep him from making a tag. Harper now tags in. Harper locks in the gator roll, and then transitions into a rear chin lock. Jimmy fights back to his feet, but Harper knocks him back down with a tackle. Harper connects with a catupolt on the middle rope as Bray Wyatt starts talking. Bray asks the WWE Universe if this is what they wanna see. He then says that hell is what Bryan has to look forward too. Back in the ring, Harper has a rear chin lock locked in. Jimmy starts fighting back and connects with a whisper in the wind. Both men are now down trying to make a tag. Jimmy gets the tag to Jey. Jey is on fire attacking Rowan and Harper. Jey with a kick to the gut and a uppercut. Harper charges in and Jey connects with a Samoan drop. Jey connects with a superkick to Rowan on the apron. Jey Uso comes over the top onto Rowan on the outside. Harper charges and eats a boot in the corner by Jimmy. Harper connects with a falcon arrow to Jimmy Uso. Daniel Bryan comes down the ramp and attacks Bray Wyatt. This gets Harper’s attention, and Jimmy Uso rolls up Harper for the 3 count.

Back on Raw, Kofi Kingston makes his way to the ring for our main event. He will go one on one with the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton.

Randy Orton starts the match off on the offensive. Orton with a back elbow and a cover for a 1 count. Orton asks where John Cena is. Kofi with a big tackle and right hands. Orton bails to the floor and Kofi gives chase. Kofi with a few right hands and throws Orton face first into the barricade. Orton rolls in the ring and back out to get seperation. Kofi gives chase and Orton tosses him face first into the announce table twice. Both men now back in the ring. Orton covers and gets a 1 count. Orton with a stomp to the right leg of Kofi. Orton picks Kofi up, but Kofi starts fighting back with kicks and punches. Orton is tossed into the corner and Kofi connects with a flying forearm. Kofi covers for a 2 count. Orton grabs Kofi by the tights and throws him face first into the corner. Kofi fights back with kicks to the gut and punches. Orton fights back and hits a big suplex. Orton keeps looking up the ramp for John Cena. Orton goes for a european uppercut, but Kofi counters into a backslide for a 2 count. Orton knocks Kofi down and covers for a 2 count himself. Orton grabs Kofi and goes for the ddt, but Kofi fights out and hits the S.O.S. but this time for only a 2 count. Orton attacks Kofi as we go to the back and John Cena has arrived. Orton is looking up the ramp waiting for John Cena. Kofi has a hold of Orton’s leg as John Cena makes his way to the ring. Kofi cuts him off so Cena can get to him.

Winner by DQ – Randy Orton

Cena is all over Orton, throwing him into the ring post and then into the crowd. Cena and Orton are fighting in the crowd. Cena with right hands as they go up the stairs. Cena picks Orton up on his shoulders, but Orton fights out with elbows. Orton starts walking way and Cena gives chase. Cena catches up to him and lands some right hands. Orton fights back with an elbow to the face. Orton and Cena are now in a skybox. Cena chases Orton out of the arena. As Cena starts to catch up, Orton jumps into the passenger side of a car and takes off. Cena starts walking back into the arena and is high fiving the WWE Universe. Cena makes his way back through the crowd and heads toward the ring. Cena celebrates in the ring with the WWE Universe as we go off the air.
