— For those who have asked us about WWE pay-per-views being available on cable and satellite TV through the WWE Network, they will still be available through InDemand, etc. So, if you don’t want to purchase the WWE Network, you won’t be locked out of pay-per-view events.
— The WWE Network will cost $9.99 a month with “a six month purchase.” As of right now, that will be the only option for ordering. As the Network evolves, that could and very well may change. The six month commitment is a very smart move as it will require viewers to renew their subscriptions right around SummerSlam and WrestleMania. They have basically timed it out perfectly. WWE will bill you $9.99 per month but if you opt out before the end of the six month commitment, they will still charge you the remaining balance.
— There has been some talk among WWE talents regarding how pay-per-view bonuses will work with the Network. As of now, there is no word on how that is going to work or if bonuses will even be issued.
— There will be some “promotional” advertising on the Network as well as sponsorships for specific events, etc.
— There is no word on older territory programming. The logos for some of the territories were shown during the video packages so it seems likely they’ll be used in some fashion.
— There was no mention of the original programming that was on Classics on Demand. They are not going to give everything away upon the launch so expect that stuff to be added later down the road.
