WWE RAW Opener:
WWE RAW begins with a special Slammy Awards opener. After that we shoot to ringside where it’s just Michael Cole and JBL, as Cole notes they will be joined by Jerry Lawler later tonight.
Daniel Bryan vs. Fandango
Daniel Bryan’s music and out comes the local Washington native. Out next is Fandango and Summer Rae. We are told the first Slammy Award will be presented after this match. The bell rings and Bryan goes after Fandango immediately. The “Daniel Bryan” chants begin almost immediately. Fandango gains control of the offense in the match early on. Bryan begins his comeback with a ton of “Yes!” kicks as his home-state fans chant along. The crowd is insanely into Bryan here tonight in Seattle. Fandango goes out to the floor to recover at one point, but Bryan does his suicide dive through the ropes onto the dancing phenom. Bryan beats up Fandango on the floor a bit before throwing him back into the ring. Bryan goes to the top rope but Fandango catches him coming off into a powerbomb. Awesome. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial. When we return from commercial, Bryan appears to be in the middle of a fiery comeback. Bryan does a bunch of “Yes!” kicks and actually badly misses the last shot, which oddly enough the production team shot a tight close-up of as it happened. The announcers spend the next 20-30 seconds trying to cover it up. Fandango cuts Bryan’s momentum off and is now back in control of the offense. Fandango heads to the top rope for his big leg-drop, but Bryan moves and Fandango misses. Bryan goes up top after that and hits a flying headbutt. Bryan calls for the running knee and he hits it. 1-2-3. Daniel Bryan wins.
Winner: Daniel Bryan
After The Match
The lights cut out and The Wyatt Family appears on the titantron. Bray cuts another Wyatt-style promo. He seems upset that Bryan hasn’t accepted his offer to join his family. Bray says if he doesn’t accept his offer, the story won’t have a happy ending. It will end the same way it started, with destruction. He promises to hurt Bryan and to prove that he is actually a monster just like him. He concludes by simply saying, “Join us. Join us, Bryan.” The lights go off, when they come back on, Bryan is leading the fans in a loud “No! No! No!” chant.
The Slammy Awards
WWE Hall Of Famers Booker T and Jerry “The King” Lawler, the hosts of tonight’s Slammy Awards, are introduced. They come out to the podium set up at the top of the stage and officially welcome us to the 2013 Slammy Awards. They encourage everyone to vote. Booker asks Lawler if he’s ever laughed out loud. With that said, they introduce the presenters for the LOL Moment of the Year: The New Age Outlaws.
Slammy Awards: LOL Moment of the Year
Out come Road Dogg and Billy Gunn in the same suits Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels wore in the movie, “Dumb & Dumber.” Awesome. Road Dogg cuts one of his old, fast-talkin’ D-X style of promos. Billy Gunn asks if Road Dogg is not gonna let him talk again this year. Road Dogg laughs and says he’s not very good at it. The crowd interupts them with a loud “one more match” chant. Road Dogg says Gunn’s line only consisted of a few words. They’ve got three words for us: “the nominees are …”

Vickie Guerrero screaches “Excuse Me” and comes out to the top of the stage. She was shown being dissed in the clips from “The Rock concert” so I guess since he’s not there, she accepts on his behalf. She talks about her outfit, grabs the award, and walks off. Yawn.

Sandow hits the “elbow of disdain” on Santino for a near fall. The crowd has a dueling chant going on right now, but I can’t quite make it out. Half of it is “Let’s go Sandow” but I can’t figure out what the other half of the crowd is saying. Santino is finally getting some comedy offense in now. He pulls out The Cobra, but Sandow trips him and nails him with the “You’re Welcome” finisher. 1-2-3. Damien Sandow wins.

He says he’s been fortunate to win a lot of Slammy’s over the years, but never for the Double-Cross of the Year. He says that’s ironic because he’s Double-Crossed a lot of people. The crowd starts a “you screwed Bret” chant, but HBK thought they said “you sold out” so he talks about how he sold out a long time ago and that’s why he’s still here. Umm, ok. Mark Henry was robbed.
The Slammy Award goes to: Shawn Michaels costing Daniel Bryan the WWE Championship at Hell In A Cell

After the Slammy announcement, the bell rings and Kingston immediately goes to work on Miz. Kingston stomps away at Miz in the corner of the ring. Miz tries fighting back but Kingston lays him out with a big boot to the face. Kingston continues to beat up Miz more aggressively than he normally is in matches. Miz just avoids a Trouble In Paradise attempt by Kingston. He rolls out to the floor, smiles and walks away. Before he makes it to the back, Kingston cuts him off. Kingston slams Miz’s head into the barricade. Back in the ring, Miz rolls Kingston up out of nowhere and holds the tights during the pin. 1-2-3. Miz wins.

We see a plug for the WWE App as Rey Mysterio’s music hits. Out comes Mr. 6-1-9 himself, Rey Mysterio. Mysterio will be part of an eight-man tag-team match. We head to commercial as we’re told the Diva of the Year will be announced and we’ll get the eight-man tag-match featuring Mysterio when we return. After the Slammy announcement, Ryback and Mysterio start things off for their respective teams in this eight-man tag-team match. RybAxel is mentioned as the team name of Ryback and Curtis Axel as Ryback beats up Mysterio in the ring. Mysterio tags in Big Show and the two big boys circle each other. They lock up and Ryback over-powers Big Show first. They lock up again and this time Big Show over-powers him. Big Show backs Ryback into a corner, tells the crowd “shhhh” and chops the hell out of him. Big Show tags in Goldust, who immediately goes to work on Ryback as we head to a mid-match commercial. We return from commercial and Antonio Cesaro is beating up Mysterio in the ring. Mysterio turns the tide and quickly tags Goldust in. Goldust picks up where Mysterio left off with Cesaro. Cesaro makes it to his corner and tags in Jack Swagger. Swagger beats up Goldust for a while now as the announcers put over some WWE terms that are trending worldwide right now on Twitter. Meanwhile, out on the floor, Cesaro nails Goldust with a clothesline. Back in the ring, Curtis Axel is tagged in and Axel continues the beatdown on Goldust. Ryback is tagged in and the announcers laugh about the “RybAxel” name of the Ryback and Axel tag-team. Ryback tags in Swagger, who continues to punish Goldust in the heel corner of the ring as the fans try to cheer on Goldust to fire up. Cesaro tags back in and stomps the hell out of Goldust. Goldust finally hits a powerslam on Cesaro to show his first sign of life. Before he can make the tag, The Real Americans stop him. Goldust ends up double-DDT’ing them both and tagging Cody Rhodes into the match. Axel tags in on the other side. Rhodes is flying all over the place now as the crowd goes wild. Cody slingshots himself into the ring off the apron with a missile dropkick. Rhodes goes to the top rope backwards and hits a flying moonsault on Axel. The heels interfere, so Big Show comes in and knocks them out to the floor. Everyone is fighting on the floor now as Rhodes and Axel battle in the ring. Mysterio comes out of nowhere and sets Axel up for the 6-1-9. He hits it and does the big dive off the top. 1-2-3. Mysterio wins it for his team.

He says also, if it weren’t for Shawn, right now he would be the WWE Champion. A loud “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chant breaks out. Bryan says he’s not angry about it. As HHH continues to speak, a loud “Daniel Bryan” chant breaks out. I love it. Daniel Bryan is shown smiling as he is one of the guys in the ring. The chants get incredibly louder as HHH tries to continue speaking. The Seattle fans aren’t stopping. HHH is waiting it out but it’s only getting louder. Mark Henry raises Bryan’s hand. Now the “Yes!” chants break out. HHH is still waiting it out. The fans are only getting louder. This is awesome. This is almost nothing to do with Bryan, yet the crowd is letting their voices be heard, supposedly what WWE claims they want, right? HHH says “that’s a lot of family for one building, Daniel. I should’ve known, a lot of ’em look just like you.” They all boo. HHH continues his speech about Sunday’s unification match. HHH first introduces the WWE Champion Randy Orton. Out comes “The Viper.” Stephanie McMahon then introduces the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena. Cena comes out and the crowd boo’s the hell out of him much like they did earlier. He says if he used to have it, he doesn’t anymore. Orton said Cena told him he got lazy last week. The crowd does a loud “boring” chant as Orton tries talking over it. They ain’t stopping lol. Orton says Cena lies when he claims he doesn’t care about being the face of WWE. A loud “Yes! Yes! Yes!” chant breaks out as Orton tries to continue speaking. He keeps trying and they keep getting louder. I think we have next year’s winner for the “Fan Participation” Slammy, eh? Orton addresses some of the Champions currently in the ring that he has embarassed in the past. Orton even brings up the Screwjob and talks about Bret. The crowd “oooh’s and ahhh’s” and that. A loud “you suck, you suck” chant breaks out as Orton wraps up his speech. Cena says one word and the crowd craps on him even worse. This crowd is awesome lol. Cena says he couldn’t help but notice Orton said the word “work.” He says “little example for one second” and grabs Daniel Bryan and brings him to the center of the ring. The crowd goes nuts. Cena says “tell these people your name, please.” Bryan says his name is Daniel Bryan. Cena asks where he’s from. Bryan says he’s from Aberdene, Washington. Cena asks if his mother or father was a former WWE Superstar. He says since he’s been here, you’ve had to work for everything you got? Bryan smirks and says “yes” in a normal voice. The crowd chants “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Cena says he worked for everything he has but Orton got everything handed to him. Cena says he’s going to hit Orton with some truth. Cena says Orton has been given everything. He says Orton hides behind HHH and Stephanie McMahon. Cena questions how Orton has the balls to say he’s better than any of the Champions in the ring. Cena says Orton has had behavior problems in the ring and outside the ring. Cena says the TLC match this Sunday is the biggest in WWE history. Orton says he wants the championships because he’s selfish. Cena says maybe if he wins them he can walk around and say, “hey guys, look! I’m finally what I was supposed to be 10 years ago.” Cena is killing it on this promo, folks. Real good Cena promo. Cena addresses how nobody wanted to give Dolph Ziggler a chance. He talks about CM Punk being “The Best in the World.” He references Bryan’s only “legitimate” Championship shot being against Cena and Bryan won. Cena shakes Bryan’s hand and says if he wins on Sunday he looks forward to a rematch with Bryan, a “fair rematch.” Cena says when the chips are down he can be just as brutal as Orton. Cena sticks his hand out. He says this Sunday will be physical and brutal, and he will be at his very best, he just hopes Orton is too. He says the last thing anyone is gonna want to deal with is “another Randy Orton excuse.” He tells him “good luck on Sunday, you’re gonna need it.” Orton thinks for a minute and then shakes his hand. Orton cheap shots Cena and the two begin brawling. All of the Champions in the ring try and break them up. Orton pie-faces Punk so Punk beats up Orton. HHH pulls Punk’s hair so Punk beats up HHH. HBK comes out of nowhere and blasts Punk with Sweet Chin Music. Bryan blasts HBK with the running knee. Orton is shoved in Stephanie and Stephanie is down. HHH checks on Stephanie. HHH gets pissed and nails Orton with a Pedigree. HHH, Cena and Kane help Stephanie up. The four stand there looking at Orton on the ground as the crowd pointlessly chants “Daniel Bryan” again lol. HHH’s music hits as we go off the air.
