WWE RAW (Airing Next Monday):
The show kicks off with an in-ring segment featuring the number one contender to the WWE Championship at SummerSlam, Daniel Bryan. Vince McMahon and Brad Maddox were also part of the segment, as the three discussed his impressive performances against Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro and Ryback on RAW the previous week. They also talk about Bryan’s match later on in the show against his former tag-team partner Kane.
The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) defeated The Usos and Mark Henry.
Rob Van Dam defeated Fandango via Count Out. The finish came when Fandango left Summer Rae and ran to the back in the middle of the match.
Kaitlyn defeated AJ Lee in a non-title match. After the match, Dolph Ziggler came out and dressed down Big E. Langston on the mic. Ziggler ends up challenging Langston to a match.
Dolph Ziggler defeated Big E. Langston via Disqualification. The finish came when AJ Lee attacked Ziggler, costing Langston the match.
Christian defeated current World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio. The match was not for the title, so Del Rio remains the World Heavyweight Champion.
Cody Rhodes defeated Wade Barrett in singles action. After the conclusion of the match, Rhodes’ former tag-team partner and the current holder of the World Heavyweight Championship Money In The Bank briefcase, Damien Sandow, cut a promo.
Daniel Bryan defeated Kane via Pinfall. After the match, Kane chokeslammed his former tag-team partner. This led to The Wyatt Family coming out and once again attacking “The Big Red Machine.” Bray Wyatt then cut another one of his wild promos.
Brie Bella defeated Natalya. Typical Divas match. Was said to be kept relatively short.
Curtis Axel defeated R-Truth in a non-title match. Before the match, Axel’s manager Paul Heyman cut a promo putting over Axel’s talent and abilities, etc. After the match, CM Punk made a run-in to an enormous pop from the fans in Laredo. Punk viciously attacked Axel to garner some amount of revenge for the attack he suffered at the hands of Heyman’s other client, Brock Lesnar, at RAW two weeks ago. Punk then had words for Heyman, who ran off to the back in fear.
We shoot backstage to a segment featuring Vince McMahon, Triple H and Brad Maddox. Vince McMahon mentions how he wants a Superstar who is like Triple H to face John Cena for the WWE Championship at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view.
John Cena defeated Ryback in a Tables Match. Following the conclusion of the contest, Daniel Bryan came out to the ring and handed Cena his WWE Championship. The show went off the air with both Cena and Bryan celebrating in the ring.
We’ll have a much more detailed RAW **SPOILER** report later this morning. Stay tuned for that.
