— As previously reported, Triple H has reached out to Ivan Koloff about a possible WWE Hall of Fame induction next year. Koloff, Sika of the Wild Samoans and Terry Funk are all now in New Jersey for the WrestleMania 29 festivities. As noted yesterday here on the website, Harley Race, Larry Zbyszko, Diamond Dallas Page, Jake Roberts, Bret Hart, Dominic DeNucci, Mil Mascaras and Dos Caras are all in New York City/New Jersey for WrestleMania 29 as well.
— Bret Hart had knee surgery last week and has been seen limping this weekend.
— WWE star Brodus Clay revealed that John Cena saved his WrestleMania 28 dancing segment with “Momma Clay” because of his trip to the bathroom!
“Last year, I didn’t know what I was doing. It was very hush-hush. When we finally found out what we were doing and did a couple of rehearsals to get ready for it, then we actually ran out of time (during WM28),” Clay told Brian Fritz of Between the Ropes radio at WrestleMania AXXESS. “I was actually in Gorilla ready to go out to do this dance that I had practiced so hard and we were extremely nervous and we ran out of time.”
“John Cena suddenly came over to me and looked at me and said, ‘I have to go to the bathroom.’ So, here’s a guy who’s getting ready for his match with The Rock and he actually ‘went to the bathroom.’ He asked, ‘How long do I need to go for?’ I said, ‘Like six minutes.’ He’s like, ‘I’ll be back in six minutes.’ So, we were able to slide out there and get in. If it weren’t for him, we probably wouldn’t have even been out there last year.”
