— On behalf of everyone here on the website, I want to take this time to wish all of you a very happy holiday season. You guys have been amazing this past year with your continued support of the website and we can’t thank you enough for that. We owe all of our success to you. We will be here today (Christmas Eve) and tomorrow (Christmas Day) with the latest news and rumors. Although WWE has already taped this week’s RAW, SmackDown and Main Event TV broadcasts (full spoilers are on the main newsboard), there will still be news that we’ll be putting up. Please continue to check back in as often as possible as we’ll be here working and posting news as we normally do. Thanks again for your continued support and have a Merry Christmas guys!
— As noted earlier here on the website, Saturday night’s 12/22 airing of WWE Tribute to the Troops on NBC drew 1.31 million viewers. This was a one-hour version of the show that aired earlier in the week on cable on the USA Network. It placed NBC last overall behind CBS, FOX and ABC. It is also a big drop from last year’s 2011 show on NBC that drew 2.1 million viewers. The final rating will be out shortly.
— WWE has confirmed that early estimates have the 11/18 Survivor Series PPV drawing 212,000 buys. This is already down from the 281,000 buys the show drew last year. WWE will be releasing final numbers in the 2012 fourth quarter earnings.
— WWE.com is featuring a new list of the top 50 moments in WWE of 2012. The list includes the return of Ric Flair, the debut of YouTube pre-show events, Brock Lesnar returning to WWE, Sheamus winning the Royal Rumble and more.
