‘Taker vs. Punk At WrestleMania?, Redskins/WWE Fans

— As of this week, The Undertaker is still set to compete at WrestleMania 29. The current frontrunner to face him is CM Punk, as Punk is a strong heel who could get a great match from him. There would also be some sort of ‘Taker’s undefeated streak against CM Punk’s WWE title streak if he’s still champion by then.

— Here are today’s confirmed WWE Superstars matches:

* Brodus Clay vs. JTG
* Santino Marella vs. David Otunga

— During an episode of 4th and Pain, Adam Carriker and Robert Griffin III revealed they are not the only players on the Washington Redskins who are big wrestling fans.

Just after a video appeared on Monday Night RAW showing Griffin getting a WWE title belt as the 4th & Pain champion, Carriker and radio co-host Chuck Carroll awarded the belt to linebacker London Fletcher. Both Fletcher and Carriker have played for the St. Louis Rams. That’s where Carriker met Joe “Road Warrior Animal” Laurinaitis. Joe’s son James also played for the Rams.

Carriker said that Joe introduced him to the word “jobber” and told him about the re-taping WWF would do if an undercard guy screwed up taking the finisher of a top talent. When Griffin was young, he was a fan of the Monday Night Wars. Fletcher grew up as a fan of the NWA. His favorite wrestlers were Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes and “Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin and the Road Warriors.

He said: “I used to sit around on Saturday morning and wait for wrestling to come on. I used to scream all through the house and my mom and my aunt would tell me to shut up!”

Fletcher said that Redskins Lorenzo Alexander and Kedric Golston would make good pro wrestlers.
