— WWE Senior Vice President of Special Events John Saboor spoke at yesterday’s WrestleMania 29 press event, noting that WrestleMania 29 is expected to bring in more than $62 million in revenue to the New York-New Jersey arena. WrestleMania 28 brought in around the same amount of revenue for Atlanta last year. Here are some of Saboor’s comments from yesterday…
“WrestleMania has very quickly grown into a week-long celebration that generates in excess of $60 million of new direct spending for the host community.
We expect by virtue of the enormity of this market and the popularity of this market that we can see an even greater result tied to WrestleMania week.”
