— Scott Stanford will be hosting WWE’s Best Pay-Per-View Matches of 2011 DVD and Blu-ray set.
— There has been some discussion about having WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler wrestle a match at WrestleMania 28.
— Randy Orton has been announced to appear at the Washington Auto Show at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center 801 Mount Vernon Place NW, Washington, D.C. on February 1, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
— EVOLVE posted the following today: “The wrestling related tenants of The Asylum Arena (former ECW Arena) are meeting with the new ownership in the next few days. We should know more about the future of the building then. As it stands now, EVOLVE 10 is the last scheduled wrestling event in that historic venue.” CZW owner DJ Hyde had been waiting for a meeting between the two sides to be arranged and was hoping to have the meeting before the holidays. If Pro Wrestling does continue at the venue, the days of wrestling promotions running all day and into the night at the venue with blood, brawling in the crowd, barbed wire, glass, death matches and the like will be over. The old management would basically allow the companies to do what they wanted. With a new management coming in, with plans of expansion, they will not likely allow the same sort of action go on there. If Pro Wrestling does not continue there, it will have an effect on the promotions that run there similar to in New York with the Elks Lodge closed and was converted into a Korean Church. When that happened, many companies were lost without a central location to run, and then struggled to draw elsewhere.
