— SITE NOTE: As most of you know by now, I will be taking the train down to New York City today to cover tonight’s ROH i-PPV event. I’d order the i-PPV at GFL.tv if you’ve got a few extra bucks as this card is sick from top to bottom. Anyways, my train leaves around 11AM and doesn’t get back here to Albany, NY until around 3AM tomorrow (Saturday) morning. With that being said, news will be very slow this afternoon and tonight. I threw up a few posts this morning and I’ll update the rest of the news on tomorrow (Saturday) morning. Thanks for your continued support of the website and I’ll see you tomorrow. Have a great holiday weekend guys!
— WWE Superstar Sin Cara turned 29 years old on Thursday. Former WWE star Jamie Noble turns 35 today while legend The Great Muta turns 49. Happy Birthday to all!
— In a follow-up to our earlier report regarding the preliminary buyrate for the November 20th WWE Survivor Series PPV, the official breakdown was 280,000 buys worldwide with 180,000 being domestic. If this turns out to be true, that would be up 14.8% from last year worldwide and up 41.7% domestically. More as we get it.
— WWE officials have been discussing the idea of turning either The Big Show or World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan heel. Sources indicate that they will likely go with Big Show, especially if a WrestleMania 28 match against Shaquille O’Neal is in the works.
— As noted in the post below this one, Shaquille O’Neal appeared on The Abe Kanan Show earlier this week and stated that he was in talks with WWE to take on The Big Show at Wrestlemania 28 in Miami. WWE officials were upset about the leak. Officials previously wanted LeBron James to participate at WrestleMania 28 in Miami but he can’t due to the NBA.
