Domino Return Update, Kevin Nash Off Indy Events, & More

— Cliff “Domino” Compton returned to Ohio Valley Wrestling last night at their weekly TV Taping in Louisville, Kentucky. Following the trip to Nigeria, where he was stranded, he has gotten a lot of buzz for the interviews he did regarding the trip. Some major companies have shown interest in him again.

— Kevin Nash is off this weekend’s Northeast Wrestling events in New York and Connecticut, due to shooting a movie in LA. Vladimir Kozlov and Sunny are being brought in to replace Nash. Jerry Lawler vs. Tough Enough’s Luke Robinson headlines the September 30th event, and Dave Finlay, Ted DiBiase Sr., Mickie James and Sunny are appearing. The October 1st event features Terry Funk vs. Lawler, Tommy Dreamer challenging NEW champ Matt Tavern and Bret Hart appearing in what is billed as his last appearance in Poughkeepsie, working as the guest enforcer for Hale Collins vs. Vik Delicious, James vs. Alexxis, plus Finlay, Caleb Konley and Robinson.

The New York Daily News has an article up on the continued popularity of wrestling collectibles.

— From Joshua: Downtown Bruno aka Harvey Whippleman called in to “What Do Ya Know?” with Michael Feldman on NPR a few days back. It was a small talk discussion segment and he called in right after me. He has written a book (available via Crowbar Press) and was pitching it to the NPR audience. Pretty funny, if you ask me.
