— This week’s Fourth of July edition of WWE Monday Night RAW drew a 2.4 cable rating, with 3,717,000 viewers. The show did hours of 2.34 (2.3) and 2.45 (2.5). This huge drop was expected as many people head out to fireworks displays, BBQ’s, etc. during the hours in which RAW airs. The number will be back to where it normally is next week.
— The July 2nd edition of WWE AM RAW drew a 0.58 (0.6) cable rating, with 200,000 viewers.
— The AWE issued the following press release today: The Bunkhouse Stampede is a 20 man over the top rope battle royal where the wrestlers wear “Bunkhouse Gear” (Jeans, Boots, etc.) and anything goes. The Stampede was a favorite of wrestling fans in the 1980’s. AWE is going to bring back that tradition in Fishersville Virginia during the Awesome Night of the Legends. To make it more exciting, AWE will open their doors to all legends from around the world who would like to participate. AWE is officially inviting any and all wrestling legends from around the world who would like to be part of the first ever AWE Open Invitational Legends of Wrestling Bunkhouse Stampede match taking place on Saturday October 15th at the Awesome Night of the Legends Super Show being held in Fishersville, Virginia inside the 3,500 seat Expo Center. Fans from 14 states have already pre-ordered tickets to be part of this mega wrestling extravaganza. This will be the first time a company has opened their doors to any legend who would like to take part and give back to the fans a great night of entertainment for all the support over the years. For it is all about the fans!!!! To all Vendors who would like to be a part of the event, if you bring a legend wrestler, AWE will provide you a 10×10 booth space and 1 table at no cost to the vendor. Legend must take part in the Bunkhouse Stampede match! All vendors and legends must be finalized by August 15th.
