— As we noted earlier here on the website, Ric Flair is not scheduled to appear at the Monday and Tuesday iMPACT! tapings. Of course, anything can happen or change. In an update on this, it is said to be a direct result of the Basebrawl tapings in Brooklyn last weekend where he was promoted for the event, but never appeared before the live crowd like he was scheduled. TNA management was obviously not happy with this.
— For those who always ask me about pay-per-view streams, I’ll throw this out there with the TNA Destination X PPV coming up tonight. We are not affiliated with this website at all but I use wsnwrestling.com. Basically you sign up for an account, make it ‘elite’ (it’s like $10 or something for the entire month – all PPVs) and you get a HQ Quality stream. It works every time for us and never skips. Again, we’re not affiliated with the site but I always get asked so here you go. It’s well worth it.
— We noted yesterday here on the website that NAIA national wrestling champion Derek Foore was signed to a developmental deal by WWE. It should be noted that Foore was invited to an FCW tryout several months ago after WWE agent/producer Jerry Brisco scouted him at a wrestling competition. Foore is now planning to move to Florida so he can be closer to the FCW training school. “Right when I got the call I was like, ‘Yes, I’m one step closer. I’m willing to do whatever it takes. When I’m crazy enough, big enough and my career is sound and well-molded, that’s when they’ll say ‘Ok, you’re ready, man.’ I’m just living in the moment. I’m 22 years old and I have this opportunity. I will take it and seize it.”, Foore said. If you’re interested, you can click here to view photos of Foore. In my opinion, he looks a little like Kurt Angle.
