— The Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger and coach Peter Laviolette presented John Cena with a team jersey before last night’s RAW.
— Ex-WWE star Matt Hardy took to his Twitter last night and stated that he thought wrestling in general was in desperate need of a change. Here are some of his tweets: “For the 1st time in a while, I watched Raw straight-thru on DVR after getting home tonight.. That was a long 3 hours. Business needs change. I’m really happy for my friends & the guys that are getting to perform & make a living in the biz, but I feel the biz is slowly fading. There desperately needs to be a new era ushered in that changes the entire landscape and mindset of professional wrestling.. And soon.”
— Colin Vassallo sent this one in: The all-female NXT season finale airs tonight on SyFy with Kaitlyn and Naomi being the final two Divas-in-training in the competition. Kaitlyn is being mentored by Vickie Guerrero while Naomi is mentored by Kelly Kelly. While no mentions have been made for a fourth season, NXT’s Canadian broadcaster The Score has the show in its December line up and chances are it will continue to air mostly because of big money deals with International broadcasters. NXT stopped airing on television in the United States when Smackdown moved to SyFy.
