— World Wrestling Council announced on Saturday that recently released WWE star Carlito would be taking part in its annual WWC Aniversario 2010 show this July. Other wrestlers scheduled to appear include WWC Universal champion Scott Steiner, Primo Colón, Orlando Colón (currently known as Tito Colón in WWE developmental), Shelton Benjamin, Tommy Dreamer, El Mesias (a/k/a Judas Mesias), Tony Atlas, Hugo Savinovich and all of the WWC Superstars.

— CTV in Canada aired back-to-back episodes of Stratusphere, starring Trish Stratus, this morning at 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. We meant to get this up earlier for you so you could view the shows. Our apologies for that. (Thanks to Devin Cutting)

— As noted earlier here on the website, yesterday marked the 11th anniversary of Owen Hart’s death at the Over the Edge pay per view. Of course, the Over the Limit PPV was last night. That was eerily similar. Reports say that many in the company were unaware of the coincidence backstage at Over the Limit last night, as there aren’t many left in the company from that time period.

— An interview with The Rock is available at http://www.contactmusic.com/ He talks about being teased for his role in The Tooth Fairy.

— Since his 2008 departure from World Wrestling Entertainment, Gene Snisky (a/k/a Snitsky) has crossed over to the acting world. He recently shot the role of “Satan” in the independent film Morning Star. He is also seeking voiceover work.
