— SITE NOTE: Here we go guys! The WWE WrestleMania Axxess stuff starts today and runs through Sunday culminating with the WrestleMania 26 pay-per-view on Sunday night at 7EST. Things are going to get EXTREMELY busy as I’ve said before. Traffic is normally much lower on the weekends but trust me when I tell you you’re going to want to check back in often to be able to keep up with all the news and rumors. We’ll have reports from all sorts of WWE Axxess festivities as well as live coverage of WrestleMania 26 on Sunday night. If you’re in Phoenix/Glendale Arizona right now or will be for WrestleMania we’d love to hear from you. Please send us reports, photos, and anything else from the area! You can email me (Ryan Clark) at Webmaster@ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com. I’ll be here all weekend long. Thanks for all your continued support of the website and please be sure to check back in as often as possible, especially this weekend! Be good guys.
— As noted last night here on the website, SpikeTV’s website is currently listing TNA iMPACT! in the 8-10PM timeslot from April 5th, which is also the next live broadcast. In an update on the situation, a source at SpikeTV says the April 5th show is the only one scheduled for the 8PM start as of now. The feeling is that starting an hour before RAW can only help the ratings. We’ll see if it stays that way but I’ve said all along that they need to go from 8-10EST to get that one-hour jump on RAW. Then at 9EST when RAW goes live they would obviously do a ‘hot’ segment to keep fans tuned in.
— ESPN.com is featuring an interview with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho where he talks about WWE’s NXT show and how he wasn’t really given a choice on being part of it. “I wasn’t really given a choice in performing. I was basically just told I was going to be on the show and that was it. But I think it’s a good concept. There are still some bugs that need to be worked out in the system, but I like my protégé, Wade Barrett. I think he’s got great presence and a great character. I also think Daniel Bryan, obviously, is an extraordinary performer as well. Those two guys stand out to me right off the bat.”
