SITE NOTE: Things are really going to get busy in the coming weeks with TNA iMPACT! vs. WWE RAW on Monday night’s starting next week as well as WrestleMania 26. Expect double the news on a daily basis as we increase our coverage. It’s going to be wild over the next few weeks/months so be sure to check back in often. We usually start posting news around 10AM EST and continue on until about 2AM EST depending on how much breaking news there is on that particular day. Check back often guys and enjoy the ride with us! You can email me (Ryan Clark) at Webmaster@ProWrestlingSCOOPS.com. If you’ve got a newsbit please pass it along. We’ll try to confirm it and then post it here on the website with credit to you. Be good guys and PLEASE COME BACK OFTEN!!! As corny as it sounds, we owe all of our success to you – our loyal fans!

— Brian Lockhart, Investigative Reporter for The Greenwich Time newspaper ran a long story on Linda McMahon and the investigation of the use of drugs in the world of professional wrestling. The story – now published online over 8 pages – looks at how the White House and Congress “dropped the ball” when it came to their investigation of steroids that eventually allowed the former WWE CEO Linda McMahon to run for Senate. You can read the interesting story at http://www.greenwichtime.com/ (Thanks to Colin Vassallo)

— As noted late last night, Vince McMahon vs. John Cena is confirmed for RAW next week. I’d expect a Bret Hart run-in and a very short match between the two. Also as we noted last night here on the website, Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes in a handicap match is also confirmed for next week’s show, Next week’s RAW guest host is magician/illusionist Criss Angel. The following week will be Steve Austin. Also, next week’s WWE RAW will run head-to-head with a live TNA iMPACT! telecast as they move to Monday nights permanently. So it’s Vince McMahon vs. John Cena on RAW and Hulk Hogan & Abyss vs. Ric Flair vs. AJ Styles on iMPACT!. Anyone think WWE doesn’t see TNA as a threat?

— In a backstage TNA note, as of late last night nobody in TNA thought Awesome Kong had been given her release. It appears she is gone or wants to be gone with her tweets on Monday. We hope to have an update later today at some point.
