» A new six-man tag match has been added to the March 26th Dragon Gate USA event in Phoenix. The Young Bucks will team up with a partner to be announced to take on CIMA, GAMMA and Dragon Kid. » I can now confirm that ‘Daniel Bryan’ will indeed be Bryan Danielson’s new WWE ring name. That was not a mistake at the FCW tapings last night. FCW ring announcer Savannah noted the following during his ring entrance: “Coming down to the ring, from Aberdeen Washington, DANIEL BRYAN!!!!” Who the hell came up with that genius idea?!?! Maybe next they’ll throw him on the WWE ‘NXT’ reality show!

» As noted yesterday here on the website, WWE’s fourth quarter earnings were $117.3 million with $11.2 million in profit. Last year’s totals were $125.4 million in revenue and $13.6 million in profit. Merchandise and licensing were down, but are expected to increase this year with the new Mattel deal. Average attendance at house shows is down, but brought in more money because of running more events. PPV revenue went up very slightly, mainly due to offering the shows in Mexico. Revenue for the year as a whole was down from $527 million to $475 million, but profit was up to $50 million from $45 million. Vince McMahon said it was a good year but not a great one.
