Dylan Wolfe sent this along:
From start to finish the crowd in the Impact Zone was OFF THE WALL. There were tons of fans waiting to get in and from what we were told on the inside a lot of people were pushed into the Hard Rock Live at City Walk. It was hosted by TNA’s Hype Man and to make up for the fans not being able to get in they brought in wrestlers periodically to say hi (from what’s been going on around here today most of the people who did not get in were “Bubba the Love Sponges Army” and there is a clear line being drawn between them and the TNA Faithful)
TNA VIPs were allowed access to the Impact Zone first, which they rightfully should have been being that they were here for TNA before Hulk Hogan.
A lot of fans were not happy with TNAs decision to do a disqualification as I’m sure it was apparent on TV. I am waiting to see what they do with Jeff Hardy before I pass judgment on his return, I would pray that they don’t use him to bury the X Division.
Apparently, and we in the Impact Zone had NO IDEA that they showed Sting on TV last night til we went home and watched.
The roof went off the Impact Zone when Hogan made his was in for the first time.
Brooke Hogan was sitting directly across from the pit with her rapper boyfriend taking pictures of the crowd and really having a good time with the fans being very cordial signing autographs and taking pictures. Nick Hogan wasn’t there.
AJ vs. Angle was WAY over and the crowd went back and forth the whole match.
The sheet that Bischoff ripped up and threw into the crowd was indeed the actual script for the night with the events written actually happening.
I am attending Impact tonight so it will be interesting to see how everything pans out with the TNAtion vs. the Bubba Army
