WWE/Twitter Update, A WWE TV Network?, Where’s Joy Giovanni?

» Former WWE Diva Joy Giovanni is getting recertified in massage therapy for a new business venture.

» WWE management informed talent this week that they can continue to use their Twitter accounts, but if anything they wrote led to negative press for the company then there would be discipline.

» The Los Angeles Times speculated recently that NBC Universal might be partnering with WWE to get an official “WWE Network” off the ground in 18 months or possibly longer in hopes of a roll-out around the start of 2012. The speculation was that NBC may have the Universal HD channel (currently in 55 million homes) shifted to a WWE channel. The Universal HD channel already replays Raw during the week on weekends. Since WWE is seeking a business partner, NBC Universal would make sense since they are the parent company of USA and SyFy. The only obstacle is the current negotiations by Comcast to buy NBC Universal.
