Tribute To The Troops Tapings, Former WWE Star Retiring, More

— Immediately following next week’s Monday Night RAW broadcast in Baltimore, Maryland, the WWE crew will head to the Middle East to tape the company’s annual Tribute to the Troops show. We can now confirm that this year’s show will air as a one-hour special on Saturday, December 19th at 9:00 p.m. on NBC. Due to the trip, next week’s episodes of Friday SmackDown! and ECW will be taped this Sunday in Hampton, Virginia. We’ll have spoilers here on the site on Sunday night instead of next Tuesday obviously.

— Former WWE Superstar, Armando Estrada has announced that he will be wrestling his final match on Saturday, December 5th against former WWE Superstar Mr. Ken Anderson (formerly Mr. Kennedy) at Great Lakes Championship Wrestling’s Blizzard Brawl in Milwaukee, WI. Estrada has grown a successful restaurant business; Baby’s Steak & Lemonade in Glendale, Arizona and is in the works of opening more franchises in the near future. — The upcoming John Morrison DVD has been titled John Morrison: Rock Star which will be a feature documentary and matches.

— As noted earlier, WWE has booked several ‘little people’ for RAW on November 30 which will be hosted by Verne Troyer of Austin Powers fame.

— Sherri Shepherd of The View noted that she had her head down Tweeting while sat ringside during RAW at Madison Square Garden when she was hit on the head by the book thrown by Triple H.
