» Insiders believe about 30% of the WrestleMania 25 pay-per-view buys (total: 970,000) came from outside of the United States. WWE gets paid less for international buys than domestic buys.

» Based on information recently released by WWE, the approximate paid attendance for WrestleMania 25 earlier this year in Houston was 70,400, which would make it the third largest in the history of pro wrestling behind the record setting 1992 SummerSlam at Wembley Stadium with 78,927 paid and the 1987 WrestleMania 3 at the Pontiac Silverdome with 75,700 paid. WrestleMania 23 at Ford Field in Detroit had 66,670 paid.

» WWE’s number of website visitors in the month of March was 13.5 million with each visitor spending an average of 22 minutes per visit. An average of 22 minutes per visit is pretty damn good. The website averaged 645 shop orders daily, down from 18% in March of 2008.

» A former member of the creative team defended Theodore Long after watching Vince McMahon put the SmackDown General Manager on probation in the storylines. The former writer felt that it would be a bad move for WWE to pull Long from television. “He makes his money on house shows,” the former writer said. “He goes and mingles and gets the crowd worked up. He’s a team player. I think they would be so poorly advised to make a switch in the management role.”
