Although advertising can change frequently, WWE TV in the UK is pushing Edge vs. John Cena vs. Big Show as the main event for WrestleMania 25 and not Triple H vs. Randy Orton. Edge vs. Cena vs. Big Show is also featured on billboards in the UK rather than Triple H vs. Orton. Note from Ryan Clark: I had heard that Edge wasn’t even going on the tour so this could very well change.
The following was issued on WWE.com: WrestleMania reaches the Big Apple Written: March 30, 2009 Before the 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania takes over Houston, it will invade New York City this Tuesday at 1 p.m. ET, as the WrestleMania Press Conference will launch its silver anniversary celebration in Times Square. Both Superstars and WWE Legends will be present at the Hard Rock Café this Tuesday, which may be good or bad news for Chris Jericho. What will happen when the Raw Superstar meets with WWE Hall of Famers Ric Flair and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper for one final time before they clash on The Grandest Stage of Them All? WWE Champion Triple H will also be in attendance, along with Shawn Michaels and Mark Henry, all with colossal contests awaiting them on Sunday. World Heavyweight Champion Edge will be face-to-face with one of his WrestleMania Triple Threat Match opponents, Big Show. And of course, what press conference would be complete without some representation from the Sexiest Women on Television? Kelly Kelly and Eve are set to light up the Big Apple. The entire WWE Universe is invited to join in the celebration. It all takes place when the doors open at 12:30 p.m. ET at the Hard Rock Café on 1501 Broadway, right in the heart of New York at Times Square.
