» As everyone knows by now, Ric Flair will return to WWE next Monday night on RAW. It should be noted that TNA had been sending feelers to Ric over the past several months. Flair has said several times he is not interested in going to TNA, even though the company would likely make him a huge offer. There had been no direct talks. Flair couldn’t legally participate in anything with TNA until 3/30, based on the terms of his release from WWE.
» As noted earlier by the TNAWrestlingNews.com website, the working idea at this point internally in TNA is to peak with four big PPV events of the year as opposed to making each monthly show a big one. The first example of this booking strategy is Team 3D being booked in the four way main event at the Against All Odds PPV on February 8 along with Sting and Kurt Angle for the TNA World Title. TNA’s biggest three shows of the year have generally been Lockdown (April), Slammiversary (June) and Bound For Glory (Ocotober).
» Awesome Kong is not only working through a bad back, but also appears to need knee surgery.
» Sting didn’t let anyone in the company know that he was having knee issues until one or two days before the Genesis PPV. He is rehabbing his knees in between tapings as we noted earlier on TNAWrestlingNews.com.
