The Associated Press issued the following article yesterday: Cuban’s HDNet to feature Pa. wrestling group A southeastern Pennsylvania professional wrestling organization will be featured weekly on Mark Cuban’s HDNet this spring. Bristol-based Ring of Honor Wrestling is entering into a partnership with the high definition network launched by the owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks in 2001. Cuban says in a written statement that Ring of Honor has developed a cult following because of its special brand of wrestling and HDNet is pleased to present it to a mass television audience. Ring of Honor wrestlers were featured in Mickey Rourke’s movie “The Wrestler.” Air times and dates will be announced.

For those that didn’t see a report on this, Colt Cabana, the former Scotty Goldman, worked the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla show last night. Also on that show was the first independent appearance by Paul London since his WWE release.

The Scranton Times has an article up on Tom Farra and Jon Trosky. Both men worked with Afa in training Mickey Rourke for The Wrestler.
