Mickey Rourke’s Dog Dies, Candice Michelle Not Happy, Christian/ECW

A sad bit of news to report here, as Mickey Rourke’s beloved pet Chihuahua Loki has died. During his acceptance speech at the Golden Globe Awards for Best Lead Actor, Rourke said, “Sometimes when a man’s alone, that’s all you got is your dog.” Loki Rourke was 17 years old.

During Sunday night’s No Way Out live blog at the WWE Universe website, Candice Michelle said she’s frustrated about not getting much ring time lately. “I promise you I have stuff in the works and I will be back on top. Matter of fact, I hate not working!” Candice said she doesn’t care if she gets traded, since RAW and SmackDown both a lot of female talent. “I just wanna fricken wrestle and I’m doing everything to get back to where I was!” The former WWE Women’s champion was out of action for most of 2008 after suffering a major shoulder injury and then re-injuring the same shoulder shortly after her return.

Last night on ECW, it was announced that ECW Champion Jack Swagger will defend against Christian on next week’s show. Christian has now pinned Swagger two weeks in a row – last week in a non-title match and this week in a tag match.
