More Backstage Rumble News: Orton Sick, Record, Attendance

The story on “Cowboy” Bob Orton, Jr. flying to Detroit yesterday for the Royal Rumble event is not true. The WWE Hall of Famer flew to Virginia on Friday and wrestled at an indy show in Danville, West Virginia last night.

WWE’s Survivor Series PPV was a legit sellout with 16,685 fans in attendance at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI.

Randy Orton was feeling ill backstage at the Royal Rumble but was able to work and win the Royal Rumble anyways.

Santino set a record last night with his elimination by Kane. He was out in less than two seconds for sure. I’ll have the official time tomorrow.

It’s going to be a VERY busy very days around here with loads of post-Royal Rumble news, iMPACT! tapings on Monday and Tuesday, RAW/ECW tapings, and a double SmackDown! taping on Tuesday. Make sure you keep it locked to this website for news updated on an hourly basis. We’ll be starting early tomorrow morning (Monday) and going all day long.
