» There hasn’t been much interest in TNA of any of the talents that were recently released by WWE.
» Sting has been rehabbing his knee in between TV tapings and did not let anyone in TNA know he was injured until a day or two before the Genesis pay-per-view, where they had to change the show and throw in the Rhino injury storyline as a way to get them out of doing a hard match and also change the iMPACT tapings so Sting wouldn’t have to do much physically.
» Kurt Angle was mad at Giant Bernard (former WWE wrestler A-Train) for power bombing him too quickly after the finish in their Tokyo Dome match a few weeks ago. The angle was shot for TV in Japan, but at the same time, Bernard had to give enough time because the match is airing as a TV main event for TNA’s upcoming “Global Impact” special in the United States. It’s going to be hard for TNA to not air the power bomb with an abrupt jump cut. Additionally, TNA officials obviously have no interest in airing something putting Bernard over their top star.
» This morning, videogame publisher Electronic Arts announced the members of the live action movie cast for Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3: Uprising, the upcoming campaign expansion to last fall’s award-winning Command & Conquer™ Red Alert™ 3. Picking up in the aftermath of the events in the original, Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising features an eclectic cast starring in the all new, live-action movie sequences the Command & Conquer franchise is known for. From sci- fi legends to rising starlets and masters of the squared-circle, the cast of Command & Conquer Red Alert 3: Uprising includes: Jamie Chung, (Dragonball Evolution), Ric Flair (16-time world heavyweight wrestling champion), Malcolm McDowell (Heroes, Clockwork Orange, Wing Commander), Jodi Lyn O’Keefe (Prison Break), Holly Valance (Neighbours) along with returning fan-favorites Gemma Atkinson and Ivana Milicevic. Flair will play the role of Commander Hill, one of the commanders players will take on in the new Commander’s Challenge mode. Flair was understandably excited about the role. “When I found out that EA wanted me to be part of Command & Conquer, all I could say was ‘Woooooooooooo!’”
