WM FACTS:
– Two of the most legendary matches of the 1990s were apart of Wrestlemania X, as both the legendary brother v. brother match between Bret and Owen Hart and the epic Ladder Match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels were on the show.
– Wrestlemania X was the first non Hogan Wrestlemania, as the Hulkster was not on the show, the same could be said about Tito Santana.
– Bret Hart was featured in both the Opening Match of Wrestlemania X and the Main Event of Wrestlemania X, as Bret lost to Owen in the opening match and defeated Yokozuna for the World title in the main event.
– Wrestlemania X was Randy Savage’s last Wrestlemania as a WWF Superstar, as the Macho Man would go onto “Greener Pastures” in WCW in the near future.
– Wrestlemania X was Jerry “The King” Lawler’s Wrestlemania debut as an announcer, and his return to the WWF after controversey that had him off TV for a few monthes.
– Leilani Kei wrestled at both Wrestlemania’s in MSG, as she lost to Wendi Richter at WM I and Alundra Blaze at X.
– The Double Main Event of Wrestlemania, which featured Lex Luger taking on Yokozuna for the WWF title, and the winner (Yoko) taking on Bret Hart later in the night, saw two special guest referees in the World Title Match, as Mr Perfect reffed the Yoko/Lex match, and Roddy Piper reffed the Yoko/Bret match up.
