In an interview with Wrestling Observer Radio (subscription required), Anthem head Ed Nordholm gave the impression that he is expecting Jeff Jarrett to return. When asked if things would change in Jarrett’s absence, Nordholm said:
“I think you’ll see a somewhat different style because they’re more tuned into an action style wrestling and probably a little less talk and a lot more action. But fundamentally as far as the biggest change in the short-term, I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself because I’m hopeful that Jeff isn’t gone long.”
He could just be saying that, of course, but if you take what he says at face value, he’s expecting Jarrett to return and his “indefinite leave of absence” may actually be an absence instead of a permanent change, as it seemed like it was going to be.
Last week, Karen Jarrett posted that Jeff’s absence is “110% a positive for Jeff and GFW.”

According to Dave Meltzer, the “personal matters” that Jarrett is dealing with are believed to be alcohol related.
Jeff Jarrett will actually be wrestling at an indie show this Saturday in Owensboro, KY, for Universal Championship Wrestling.
